QTs is a small independent music newsletter. Here’s what we do with your data.
What we collect When you make a submission to QTs, you have the option to share your name (or pen-name), pronouns, and email. All of these details are optional and you may choose not to provide them. If you subscribe to the physical newsletter, we collect your postal address via GoCardless in order to send it to you.
Payments Subscriptions are handled by GoCardless. We never see your bank details — they go directly to GoCardless. See their privacy policy at gocardless.com.
File uploads Music files are uploaded to Disroot, a privacy-focused European service. Files are encrypted. Files may be shared with subscribers as physical or digital media as part of the newsletter.
Your music By submitting a track you give QTs permission to feature it in the newsletter, including in physical formats and via digital distribution. We’ll always credit you using the details you provide with your submission. You retain full ownership of your music.
What we do with your data We collate submissions into a print newsletter and accompanying music release, either physical or digital. Postal addresses are used only to send physical copies and are not shared with anyone else. We don’t sell or share your data.
Your rights You can ask us to delete your data at any time, including your postal address. Email us at privacy@qtscuties.co.uk.
